WEDDING RECEPTION PART 2

the other awesome part of our missouri trip was the wedding reception my mom and stepdad threw us.

since our actual wedding was so small - and kind of hard to get to - they put together an amazing reception for us at home to celebrate with all the friends and family members who weren't able to come.

they rented out one of my favorite hometown restaurants and went to town with decorations that matched our fall theme, had photos from the wedding, and tons of food (and cake!)

yup. pretty sure we're the luckiest couple ever.

COOOOOOKIES

 

hands down one of my favorite parts of the trip home this year was decorating cookies with my mom, (pregnant) sister melissa, and niece becca sue. 

when i was little it was something we'd do together every year, but it's somehow gotten lost in the shuffle. this was becca's first go at it - and she was a decorating champ

good to bring that tradition back together.

FOTO FATIGUE

i rarely like to admit this, but sometimes i go through photo fatigue where i just don't feel like taking pictures for a while. i realize that doesn't sound shocking, but it feels shocking.

unfortunately after our epic honeymoon adventure (and taking over 2k photos in two weeks) this year's trip to missouri fell victim to my dreaded photo fatigue.

but there where presents

OH WERE THERE PRESENTS

and amazing quality time hanging out with my family, playing games, cooking together, snacking on anything we could get our hands on, and playing with my neice and nephew.

we also got stuck there for an extra day thanks to storms and flights being cancelled, but having more time with the fam is never really a bad thing

between the wedding, hurricane, honeymoon, and holidays - i never got a chance to post pics from halloween. better late than never

i kinda wish halloween was twice a year.

BACK TO LIFE, BACK TO REALITY

still trying to get myself back to normal and jump back into the swing of things

i need to do the dishes. and yeah, that's a paint brush in my sink. normal occurrence in a crafty household.

F U FLU

okay. well 2013 has started off with me being out of commission for three days with the flu.

whatever. at least there's been plenty of snuggsn'
